Meet a true Georgia peach, Ms. Tamica Thompson, who was born and raised with her mom and dad until the age of eight. After her parent's divorce, Tamica and her mom resided in Decatur, GA most of her life where she recalls a good upbringing. Her mother was a certified nursing assistant who kept them in church and was very supportive. In 2021, Tamica decided to spread her wings and move to Texas. A short time after leaving Georgia, the home she knew best, Tamica was hit with disturbing and unexpected news. In 2022, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer.
